Plas Brondanw Cafe will be closing its doors for the Winter on September 30th.

We would like to thank everyone that visited us this year for your continued support. It has been a very successful year.

I would  like to emphasize that the gardens remain open all year round and access can be gained through the big blue gate to the right of the cafe doors, on the other side of which is an honesty box for admissions.

Also, please keep an eye on our news page for any upcoming events, such as special food evenings.

We look forward to welcoming everyone back in the Spring,  so until then……..all the best……

Dia de los Muertos menu

Come and join us for a Mexican themed tapas evening to celebrate The Day of the Dead!

This ritual of remembering the dead was started by the Aztecs some 3000 years ago, and when the Spanish arrived they couldn’t banish it and its rituals merged with elements of Christianity.

It was believed by the Aztecs that the dead were still members of the community, kept alive in memory and spirit—and during Día de los Muertos, they temporarily returned to Earth.

Today, it is a national holiday in Mexico when families gather at the graves of their loved ones and leave offerings of their favourite foods and marigold flowers to demonstrate love and respect to the deceased.

Here are our offerings for the evening!
